I am going to hit the annual Seattle Cheese Festival this weekend. (I know, cheese when it's 85 degrees out? The other option is to not go, which doesn't seem right.)
And I'm hoping to get a dress done in time for Saturday night. It's a knit dress by McCalls (not my trusty Burda...), and I can already tell it's going to require some careful planning and a muslin to get the right finished garment measurements.

You *must* not miss the cheese festival.
Oh man! Thanks for the tip on the cheese festival. Had no idea it was this weekend. Am definitely going to check that out tomorrow!
My funny story about the cheese festival: The mini doughnut guy at Pike Place Market wanted to do something for cheese festival, so he put Cheez Whiz on a doughnut and asked my teenage DS to try it...and he did! (Eww. Said it was weird, but not terrible.) That's right, whenever we go back there, my son is the famous kid who ate the Cheez Whiz doughnut. lol

Gee, I grew up in the Seattle area and somehow we never went to the Cheese Festival...Hmmm!!! Have a great time and hope the dress plans come together...Mary
Well, it's 98 here right now at 7:50 pm! I think it was 103 today. But, I sure wish I could check out that cheese festival.
I'm jealous Christina! It's freezing here at the moment and I'm sitting here sniffling away with a whole box of tissues at my side....sigh!
